Collection Focus: Foreign Artists in Paris

Summary

The Collection Focus “Foreign Artists in Paris” is a corner set up in conjunction with the exhibition Koide Narashige: In Pursuit of Oil Painting for the Japanese to coincide with the Osaka-Kansai Expo, which is held locally with the participation of 158 countries and regions. We present a selection of works by Japanese painters who visited Europe during the same period as Koide Narishige, as well as works by artists representative of the School of Paris, all drawn from the collection of Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka.
