The total number of visitors to the exhibition Claude Monet: Journey to Series Paintings now showing in Osaka has reached the 300,000-visitor milestone. Museum Director Sugaya Tomio shared the following upon hearing the news.

It is amazing that this exhibition has already received 300,000 visitors. I am highly impressed by the way that everyone is so keenly focused on viewing the art, remaining considerate of other viewers despite the large numbers attending at busy times. The appeal of Monet’s art and the enthusiasm of these 300,000 visitors are deeply moving.

Director of the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka
