The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka is running an upcycling project to reuse massive banners from past exhibitions, rather than discarding them as waste, and the second upcycling workshop has been set for August 1, 2023.
In this workshop, banners cut into circular shapes by the Ityounomori welfare facility will be turned into honeycomb ball wind-bells—three-dimensional works perfect for summer—by workshop participants using scissors and quick-drying glue provided by Konishi Co., Ltd.
