The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka will hold its first large-scale exhibition for Japanese artist Shizuko Yoshikawa and Swiss graphic designer Josef Müller-Brockmann from December 21, 2024 to March 2, 2025.

The show presents the careers and work of Swiss graphic designer and typographer Josef Müller-Brockmann (1914 – 1996) and his partner and artist Shizuko Yoshikawa (1934 – 2019). The first duo exhibition of the two artists since Yoshikawa’s passing, the show commemorates the 160th anniversary (in 2024) of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan.
