The current exhibition Claude Monet: Journey to Series Paintings welcomed its 200,000th visitor today. The 200,000th visitor was Ms. Yukawa Ami from Yodogawa Ward, Osaka City. Ms. Yukawa came to the show with her two daughters, and her mother, who loves paintings. She said it was their first visit to the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, and that they were looking forward to seeing the Water Lilies series.
To celebrate reaching the 200,000-visitor milestone, the museum director Sugaya Tomio presented Ms. Yukawa with commemorative souvenirs.
