Personal Information Protection Policy
Declaration Concerning the Protection of Personal Information
We recognize that we have a grave social responsibility to protect our visitors’ (customers’) and employees’ personal information when operating the Museum. We hereby declare that we will establish and operate a management system to protect personal information in order to implement and maintain the following policies, based on the principle that "information protection is the basis of our services", and that we will undertake company-wide initiatives to continuously improve this system.
1. We acquire, use, and provide appropriate personal information only to the extent necessary to operate the Museum and to employ and manage personnel. Furthermore, we do not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use (use beyond the intended purpose), and we take measures to ensure personal information is not used beyond its intended purpose.
2. We comply with laws, regulations, guidelines and other standards established by the government concerning the handling of personal information.
3. We strive to prevent and correct unauthorized access to personal information, and personal information leaks, loss, or damage.
4. We appropriately and promptly respond to complaints and inquiries concerning personal information.
5. We constantly improve our personal information protection management system.

We have appointed the following person as our Personal Information Control Officer to appropriately and safely manage personal information and to take protective measures to prevent personal information leaks, loss, or damage. This policy discloses the purposes for which we use personal information and explains our handling, etc. of such information in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Purpose of Use
Personal information we acquire is used for the following purposes in association with the operation of Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka (the "Museum"), the management of real estate and other related operations or projects.
1. Information on visitors (customers)
▽ To appropriately respond to inquiries from visitors and to provide various services in connection with the operation of the Museum and other related businesses
2. Information on participants at events organized by the Museum, campaign applicants, and survey respondents
▽ To contact event participants
▽ To select and contact campaign lottery winners
▽ To deliver or send information about our operations or projects in response to questionnaires submitted
3. Information on tenants
▽ To confirm the name of the tenant when keys change hands when moving in or out of a leased space and when sorting mail, and to contact tenants in emergencies
4. Information on applicants for employment and information on employees
▽ To screen applications and communicate with applicants, and to manage personnel
We do not use or provide personal information on visitors beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining consent from the individual concerned.
Notification of Purpose of Use, Disclosure, Corrections, etc., and Suspension of Use of Retained Personal Data
Visitors who wish to confirm the purpose of use, or to request disclosure, corrections, additions or deletions (collectively "Corrections, etc."), or the suspension of use of personal information (personal information subject to disclosure) we retain should contact the following personal information inquiry desk in accordance with our prescribed procedures. After verifying the identity of the person making the request, we will conduct the necessary investigations. If we believe that there are grounds for the request, we will respond appropriately without delay and notify the person who made the request of the outcome thereof. Visitors may be asked to pay a fee. Please contact the personal information inquiry desk regarding procedures and fees.

Our general contact desk for inquiries regarding the handling of personal information is indicated below. In principle, disclosure and other types of request should be made in writing by mail, and our response to such requests will also be in writing by mail. We will only answer questions by telephone that concern request procedures. We make every effort to handle complaints received in an appropriate and prompt manner. Please note that we cannot accept requests or inquiries made in person at the Museum.
