The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka is running an upcycling project to reuse massive banners from past exhibitions, rather than discarding them as waste. The third upcycling workshop, which is for fifth graders in elementary school on up, has been set for November 19, 2023.

In this workshop, banners cut into circular shapes by the Ityounomori welfare facility will be turned into Christmas trees—three-dimensional works perfect for winter—by workshop participants using scissors and quick-drying glue provided by Konishi Co., Ltd.
